How can we all follow in Andrew Wyeth’s footsteps and be “open to flow” in creative pursuits? Pianist, composer, recording artist and photographer Catherine Marie Charlton (catherinemariecharlton.com; @cmcriverdawn) will discuss her “Wyeth Walks” in the woods, seeking inspiration for her music while immersing herself in Wyeth art and creative philosophies. Drawing from these experiences and from writers and philosophers including Henry David Thoreau, Charlton will share her understanding of how the Wyeths, especially N.C. and Andrew, found subjects in nature and were open to surprises in unexpected places. Charlton, a member of the UU Society of Mill Creek, Delaware, speaks there regularly and throughout the region. She also serves on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia chapter of The Recording Academy (i.e. The GRAMMY Awards.)
