In June 1923, Rev. Norbert Čapek created a worship service where everyone was asked to bring a flower to church, and leave with a different bloom. Thus, the Flower Communion service was created, a celebration of each individual and a celebration of the beauty of unity in diversity. Bring a flower from your yard, from a field, a store, the roadside… and share in this decidedly Unitarian Universalist celebration.
