Our Share the Plate partner for February is the Montgomery County Community College Food Pantry. The Stock Up for Success program was started in 2014 to address the growing issue of food insecurity among students.Your donations can help eliminate a student’s dilemma of having to choose between food and attending class. Monetary donations help fulfill needs as they arise and enable economical bulk purchases of popular items such as macaroni and cheese cups, canned meals, microwavable soups, etc. No need for students to allow food insecurity to interfere with their studies. They can stop by the Student Success Centers at Central or West campuses. There they can get breakfast, lunch and snacks from the Stock Up for Success food pantries. They also have take-away foods, including peanut butter, canned tuna and produce that can be used for dinner or a weekend meal. Foods are supplied by donations from the Montco and surrounding communities, Stock Up for Success exists to help students succeed. For hours and information contact the Student Success Center at 215-641-6577 or [email protected].
