The UU Mystics Group has a New Date/Time. They will be meeting monthly on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the conclusion of the regular Sunday services.
Our September Mystics gathering got pushed back to October due to a schedule change. On Sunday, October 18 after the service, we will discuss Hildegard of Bingen, a 12th century mystic. She was an amazing woman. Hildegard was a 12th-century German Benedictine abbess, mystic, and polymath known for her divine visions, pioneering musical compositions and holistic medical texts.
She broke social and gender barriers of the Middle Ages. Kings, popes and religious leaders sought her advice. In 2012, the Catholic Church named her a Doctor of the Church, an honor given to only four women in history.
