Unitarian Universalism declares “that every person is inherently worthy and has the right to flourish with dignity, love and compassion” (quoted from the UUA shared values). Our culture often tells us the opposite — that human worthiness only comes from labor or production. How do we celebrate the work we do while also not tying our value to what we produce?
