The Social Action Committee project for September was to donate backpacks to a local school. We donated 48 backpacks filled with school supplies and 26 lunchboxes to Marshall Street
Elementary School. Thank you to all who generously contributed by donating the needed items and filling the backpacks. The school secretary and guidance counselor were happy to accept the
donations last week, prior to the start of school. Thank you to everyone who helped with this worthwhile project. Special thanks to Lindy Fischer who launched the project and delivered the
backpacks and lunch boxes!
